What youll do
As the Regional Physical Safety amp; Security Lead for APJ, you oversee safety and physical security programs across offices within your geographic area. You execute regional standards spanning incident response, site operations, EHS, workplace violence prevention, vendor management, and travel risk. Through partnerships with stakeholders such as Real Estate, Legal and HR, you mitigate regional threats and deliver a resilient workplace.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Physical Safety amp; Security.
Responsibility
- Lead regional safety and physical security operations across assigned APJ sites
- Coordinate incident response and escalation with the GSOC and site teams
- Conduct post-incident reviews and implement corrective actions
- Manage security vendor relationships including guard force SLAs and performance
- Administer site security technologies including access control and video management
- Drive life-safety partnership with Facilities and ensure local regulatory compliance
- Execute travel risk programs and support emergency response for travelers
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to recommend design improvements
- Support new site openings with security design requirements and commissioning
- Develop training for employees and vendors on emergency procedures
- Track and report KPIs for incidents and technology health
- Maintain regional budgets and forecasts for technology lifecycle and projects
- Participate in the global on-call escalation rotation for APJ
Basic
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience of 8+ years leading security or safety operations in multi-site environments
- Experience managing contract guard vendors and service providers
- Experience administering enterprise access control and video management systems
- Experience leading incident response and investigations with cross-functional partners
- Knowledge of regional EHS and life-safety regulations
- Experience defining operational metrics and dashboards
- Ability to work onsite full-time and respond to after-hours incidents
Preferred
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, NEBOSH/IOSH) and familiarity with ISO 45001/physical security frameworks

Job Designation
Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)
In Office: Employee works from the physical workspace 100% of the time.
