General Description Of Role

The Data Analytics role will be vital in crafting our market strategy using Aon tools and improving value for clients and colleagues. The team works very closely with the regional teams for Analytics as well as the ABS teams supporting the India analytics delivery in executing the laid down strategy. The role will strongly focus on developing colleague skills in articulating and presenting analytics as well asdetecting fundamental patterns.

Job Responsibilities

Support the business leader in execution of the key responsibility areas as given below. The weighting for each role will be determined by the particular emphasis placed on that member within the team.

• Online Benefits (Flexible Benefits)
• Collaborate with clients and leads, understand business needs, coordinate benefits integration, and acquire new clients.
• Collaborate with clients/prospects on case documentation for Flexible benefits implementation, including feasibility study, results presentation, requirements documentation as an analyst, and working with a tech team on portal setup. Understand the benefit delivery process, work with vendors, and coordinate with managers and colleagues to secure insurance placement. The team member will also track the implementation post placement and get feedback on benefits enrolment, employee experience and work on next renewal strategy with client / team.
• Analytics
• Support coworkers with benefits advisory using Aon analytics tools like Pulse, HRA, and Explorer Benefits Consulting.
• Benefits Consulting
• Support Health Solutions colleagues on their insurance benefits consulting requirements as needed including custom analysis, insurance solutioning and presentation preparation.
• Lead and execute paid benefit consulting projects including strengthening our existing benefits benchmarking data base and running the annual benefits surveys in collaboration with the ABS teams.
• Product and Industry Solutions (Sub-Responsibility)
• The Industry Solutions position is responsible for growing the reach of Aon HS benefit broking solutions to new clients within specified industry sectors.
• Target industries include (1) Technology (IT/ITES including GCC) (2) Financial Institutions (3) Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences (4) Engineering & Manufacturing & (5) General Industry
• The Product Solutions sub-role is accountable for growing the footprint of specific product areas. Insurance products in scope include (1) Outpatient Benefits, (2) Flexible Benefits, (3) Expatriate Benefits and (4) Benefits Advisory or others as advised
  
  

Skills/competencies Required

• Experience in client relationship management and strong business development skills are required
• Previous involvement in a team that successfully navigated and completed a lengthy sales cycle conversion.
• Must have a grasp on data analytics and proficient with Microsoft excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, presentation, consultative selling, advising, and negotiation skills.
• Worked with a matrix structured organization; is a team player and is collaborative.
• Ability to manage and excel in ambiguous situations.
  
  

Required qualifications include MBA, MCA, or postgrad diploma in business. Also, B Tech, BBA, or BA or equivalent experience with 4+ years in insurance. Data analytics and insurance certifications preferred.
