Quant Analytics Associate

As a Quant Analytics Analyst in the Chase Data team, you play a key role in enabling business innovation by ensuring data is clearly documented, of high quality, and well-protected. You collaborate with technology and business partners to deliver data that supports business objectives, analytics, and reporting, while maintaining compliance with firmwide policies.

Job Responsibilities

• Define metadata and classifiers for data critical to the business area
• Execute processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks across the data lifecycle
• Develop operational procedures for delivering data to support business operations and analytics
• Document data requirements to ensure understanding across teams and functions
• Partner with technology and business resources to investigate and remediate data issues
• Lead development and reporting of operational performance metrics and KPIs
• Create self-serve tools to provide real-time information to decision-makers
  
  

Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree
• Four years industry experience in a data-related field
• Subject matter expertise in business or product data or processes
• Hands-on experience with at least four of SQL, Python, SAS, Tableau, Alteryx
• Proven ability to execute via internal partnerships
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

• Technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, or data architecture
• Experience writing code and automating data sourcing, transformation, and analysis
