Role Description

The Python Django Intern role is a volunteer, remote opportunity that involves learning and contributing to real-world Python and Django projects. Interns will assist in developing, testing, and deploying web applications while collaborating with the team to improve features and functionality. Responsibilities include writing clean, reusable, and efficient code, troubleshooting and debugging, and actively contributing to team discussions and problem-solving. This position is designed to enhance technical skills and provide practical experience in a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with the Django framework
• Basic understanding of web development concepts, including APIs, HTTP, and REST
• Knowledge of database systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Familiarity with Git and version control best practices
• Problem-solving mindset with an eagerness to learn and contribute
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work remotely
• Enrollment or recent completion of a Computer Science or related program is a plus
