Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result.

This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Bangalore, India. .

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Plan, procure, and execute projects with defined scope and timelines, ensuring safety and integrity remain top priorities.
• Act as the primary customer contact for project-related matters; review and report project progress as per defined guidelines.
• Lead the project team, establish execution strategies, and oversee planning, monitoring, and control of internal and external resources.
• Monitor project progress, resource utilization, financials, and risks; ensure opportunities are identified and pursued, and drive formal project acceptance and contract close-out.
• Maintain ISO documentation, track inventory for cash flow, prepare weekly/monthly reports, and ensure up-to-date project files and schedule follow-ups with responsible teams.
  
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Chemical Engineering; MBA or BS also acceptable.
• Minimum 12–16 years of experience in project management, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Highly skilled in automation and BIW/Chassis line project handling with 13–15 years of hands-on experience.
• Proficient in project management tools such as SAP, and design software including AutoCAD, CATIA, and SolidWorks.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a passion for out-of-the-box conceptual thinking.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across PAN India based on project site requirements.
• Industry experience in Automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, robotics, and machine automation
