Role Overview

Job Description – Project Lead (Engineering Applications)

We are looking for an experienced Project Lead with a strong background in Engineering Applications and CAD tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading project activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth delivery of engineering application solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end project execution for engineering applications.

Work closely with engineering, design, and IT teams to support CAD/PLM requirements.

Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CAD tools.

Coordinate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions on time.

Ensure version control and repository management using GitLab/SVN.

Collaborate with infrastructure teams for system upgrades, performance improvements, and issue resolution.

Prepare project documentation, status reports, and technical guidelines.

Provide support, training, and guidance to users as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with CAD applications such as Autodesk, SolidEdge, SolidWorks, and CATIA.

Good understanding of Teamcenter or other PLM tools.

Experience with GitLab, SVN, and version control systems.

Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networking basics, and system integrations.

Proven experience in project coordination or project leadership roles.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

Experience in engineering or manufacturing domain.

Familiarity with scripting or automation tools is an advantage.
