Job Overview

This opportunity provides an excellent experience of Project Transitions/Transfer within TE Product Portfolio as well as provides an opportunity to work on New Project Industrializations.

Reporting to the AD&M India Project Management Leader, the position holder will have primary responsibility for leading project transitions/transfers and New Project Industrializations. The Project Manager role position holder will drive the successful performance of multiple high profile/value projects following defined methods and processes to achieve commercial and efficiency targets set by the business.

Developing relationships and maintaining a high-level of communication with cross-functional local/global teams will be critical to the role. You will be required to act as the primary owner of each project and to report progress to a senior leadership team on a regular cadence and at specific key Milestones during each Project.

• Excellent organisational, time management and administrative skills
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to disseminate critical information appropriately
• Project Management Professional preferred (e.g. PMP, Prince 2)
• Agile Project Management experience, especially Aglie/Waterfall combined projects is preferred, but not essential.
• Good level of IT capability with detailed experience of Microsoft Office (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Flexibility and a willingness to travel
• Technical and commercial education/ experience related to Engineering Manufacturing in a similar industry would be beneficial
  
  

Desired Candidate Profile

The candidate should have min. 3 years proven experience in Project Management or relevant experience in similar industry. Candidate should ideally have a track record of successful delivery of customer facing product development projects following a Stage Gate process product development / manufacturing environment.

Experience in managing gate-phase / toll-gate process.

Managing documentation and deliverables across gates.
