Amazon’s Workforce Staffing (WFS) team is pioneering solutions to our toughest workforce challenges across the globe, building innovative labor models and infrastructure that improve Amazon’s employment value proposition and scale over time. We are looking to hire a talented and committed WFS Specialist to join the Workforce Staffing (WFS) Team. We are a geographically distributed team, and you would be located at our buildings in Bangalore to support APAC.

The successful candidate will work in lock-step with APAC, WFS Operations and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include

• Lead multiple simultaneous projects to deploy processes/systems and optimize hiring lead times, costs and service levels for our geographies in APAC expand the funnel with sourcing strategies for hiring a diverse workforce, evaluate hiring experience from a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion lens and execute labor strategy plans for high volume hiring of frontline associates
• Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed and ensuring service requirements
• Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels and drive the Labor Strategy related decisions including Labor Model changes and associated change management across diverse stakeholders for smooth execution
• Manage the prioritization and trade-offs between different business groups, maximizing efficiency gains without compromising on quality
• Think strategically and translate strategy into operational plans and business results
• Obtain buy-in from senior business leaders and stakeholders, influence without authority to drive alignment for execution
• Prepare, analyse and present data on key impact areas with support from Analytics and write clear and concise communication including monthly and quarterly business reviews
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree, or 4+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Experience converting insights into strategy and communicating complex ideas clearly and logically in written communication
• Experience managing medium to large-scale projects
• Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting
• Experience handling administrative details independently, while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed
• Experience implementing change management successfully transitioning programs into large-scale operations
• Experience defining technical requirements and working with systems resources
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing policies and supporting documentation
• Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards
• Experience managing cross-functional projects & initiatives
• Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management
• Experience of working in a virtual team and leading teams across geographies
• Work experience for a large-scale operations business such as FMCG, e-commerce, retail or manufacturing
• Experience in Field HR or Operations or HR consulting and understanding of core HR processes
• Demonstrated program ownership and consistent delivery on commitments
• Previous recruitment experience overseeing either agency and/or direct hire sourcing models in a high volume environment
