Product Security Manager

We have an opportunity for a Product Security Manager to join our Product Security teamin Bangalore, reporting to the senior director of Product Security and Compliance. In this pivotal role, you will drive and support the PSE team in conducting pen tests, secure design reviews, and other risk analyses. Your team will be part of our “follow the sun” approach for incident management, working with other global PSE teams to ensure 24X7 coverage. You will also manage the local team and use your technical ability to execute product security objectives that map to departmental and corporate goals.  

Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do  

• Lead a team of security professionals, overseeing all aspects of application security for our on-prem and SaaS products
• Outwardly champion Infobloxs security efforts to create the most secure products in the space and evangelize the security that our products provide to our customers
• Establish a charter for best-in-class product security and drive Engineering teams toward achieving these ideals
• Work with stakeholders, including Engineering, IT, and Product Management, to define and ensure secure product reviews occur for both new and existing functionality
• Engage with Legal and Security Compliance on reviews of customer security contracts, responses to security risk questionnaires, and managing customer audit support
• Communicate progress by highlighting the accomplishments, risks, mitigation, and other pertinent key performance indicators
• Drive product security metrics, allowing management to understand the maturity levels in various areas of product security
• Work closely with the Infoblox CISO and Infosec teams to improve corporate security programs
  
  

Be Prepared — What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience in product security, including both SaaS and on-premises products
• 5+ years of hands-on application security experience, including cloud infrastructure
• 3+ years of direct management of security-focused engineers with a track record of personnel development and mentorship
• Professional security management certification is highly desirable, such as CISSP, CISM, etc.
• Working knowledge of Jira and Microsoft Office is preferred
• Experience working with teams in a cloud/SaaS ecosystem
• Experience working within a global team structure
• Solid understanding of product and software development principles and industry frameworks
• Ability to build, lead, and motivate a group of teams and mitigating team conflict
• Experience coaching team members and developing individual career plans and goals
• Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills combined with strong business judgment
