The Role

As a Product Owner, you work closely with the Product Manager and business stakeholders to translate priorities into a clear, well-defined team backlog. You drive story readiness, refine acceptance criteria, and ensure the team has what it needs for effective iteration planning and smooth execution. Throughout the PI, you are accountable for delivering customer and business value, supporting compliance requirements, and enabling predictable flow.

This role is essential to guiding feature development, improving team performance, and ensuring alignment with PI objectives and ART goals. We are seeking a strong Product Owner with Corporate Lending knowledge and deep experience in Transact, solid API knowledge, and 5+ years in similar roles. The position plays a key part in the HyperGrowth International ART and contributes actively to the HGIN ART leadership team.

Opportunities

• Maintain and prioritize the team backlog to reflect business value, strategic goals, and refined requirements from stakeholders and users.
• Work closely with Product Managers, stakeholders, and users to clarify needs, align expectations, and ensure the team has well-defined and actionable work.
• Lead story readiness, define acceptance criteria, and support the team throughout iteration planning, execution, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Translate user needs into clear user stories and ensure delivered features meet usability, performance, and customer expectations.
• Embed regulatory, compliance, and risk considerations into backlog items and day-to-day decision-making.
• Track product performance, KPIs, and outcomes to guide continuous improvement and refine priorities.
• Play an active role in PI Planning and support the team in meeting PI objectives with predictable, high-quality delivery.
  
  

• Strong understanding of Corporate and Commercial lending and facility structures
• Syndications and participations knowledge with a level of understanding on agency processing.
• Understanding of complex pricing structures and collateral management.
• Broad knowledge of all areas of Corporate and Commercial banking.
• Strong knowledge of Temenos Transact and related banking domains.
• Solid understanding of APIs, integrations, and system-to-system workflows.
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments.
• Ability to write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong backlog management, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Experience working closely with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Understanding of regulatory, compliance, and risk requirements in financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex needs into simple solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams, clarify requirements, and support smooth execution.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
