Your Impact

As Product Manager - Optical Networking, you will drive Cisco’s next-generation optical networking innovations. You will bridge advanced technology with customer-centric solutions, focusing on delivering scalable, high-performance optical connectivity for cloud, AI and service provider networks.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Defining and executing the product roadmap for optical networking solutions
• Partnering with engineering, sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to accelerate product development and market adoption.
• Collaborating closely with customers and industry leaders to capture insights, anticipate market trends, and align solutions with evolving demands.
• Leading go-to-market initiatives to ensure impactful product launches and sustained market success.
• Advocating for automation and software-centric strategies to optimize operational efficiency and customer experience.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

We seek a highly motivated and technically proficient individual ready to lead innovation in optical networking.

Your Qualifications Should Include

• Proven product management experience, preferably in networking or related technology domains.
• In-depth knowledge of optical networking technologies, including coherent transceivers, optical transmission systems with EDFA and Raman amplification, ROADM architectures, and various fiber types.
• Strong understanding of service provider, cloud/hyperscale and AI infrastructure requirements.
