Office Extensibility team in Bangalore is looking for an energetic and collaborative Product Manager with passion for both technology and customers.

The mission for the team to build rich, intelligent, and contextual content and workflow experiences on Outlook across platforms for end users, developers, and admins to drive 3rd party ecosystem growth. The team builds and delivers an extensible platform, in form of web add-ins, for ISV and line-of-business application developers that enhances end user productivity. Users can get their job done in seamless manner from within M365 hub, across device endpoints, without having to context switch to another application.

The candidate should have a successful track record working in an engineering role on products or features that marry user experience and platform capabilities. The candidate should be great at collaboration across teams and passionate about working with latest technology and know-how to create and deliver high impact products.

Responsibilities

• Build great partnerships with other Microsoft teams to leverage others’ work and build upon a cohesive solution for our developers and partners
• Use customer needs, data, and necessary insights to rally the organization around that vision.
• Leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity, drive innovation, and solve complex customer problems within the Microsoft 365 platform.
• Build strong partnerships with engineers, designers, and other teams to deliver on the roadmap with great execution excellence.
• Strive to generate clarity and drive alignment across multiple teams, leading to clear and concise deliverables.
• Engage with customer and partners to collect qualitative and quantitative feedback on how to continually innovate and improve the programs and processes.
• Communicate to leadership and internal teams through clear and regular communication that establishes trust.
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI-driven solutions into product features, workflows, and customer experiences.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
• OR equivalent experience.
• Proven product management experience in building and shipping products and/or services.
• Solid technical background with ability to partner well with engineers.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using AI technologies (e.g., machine learning, generative AI, Copilot, LLMs) to improve product management processes, decision-making, and customer outcomes.
• Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, proven ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations, great cross-group and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to lead programs/ projects and to enable innovation, thirst for continual learning and passion to motivate and grow people.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
• OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
• 2+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
