About the role


The Product Engineering Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of our product engineering strategies. Your mission will be to foster innovation and manage the creation of new, high-quality products to meet our company goals. The role collaborates closely with Delivery Leads, Data Platforms Lead and the AI and Analytics Manager


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Lead delivery across product engineering teams operating within Agile and Agile-at-Scale ways of working, ensuring predictable, high-quality outcomes that maximise customer and business value.
  • Own delivery outcomes across the full product lifecycle, from discovery through release, enabling iterative delivery, rapid feedback, and continuous value realisation.
  • Partner with Product and cross functional leaders to enable value-based prioritisation, ensuring Agile planning and sequencing focus on the highest impact outcomes rather than output alone.
  • Establish and continuously improve Agile delivery practices at scale, improving flow, transparency, dependency management, and delivery predictability across multiple teams or value streams.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, using Agile metrics, feedback loops, and retrospectives to enhance team effectiveness, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Provide governance and oversight of technical delivery within agile environments, ensuring engineering decisions support sustainability, scalability, and long term product value.
  • Lead and develop delivery capability teams within Agile models, building strong ownership, collaboration, and accountability for outcomes.
  • Evaluate and evolve tools, practices, and technologies, adopting agile aligned approaches that measurably improve delivery efficiency, product quality, or customer experience.
  • Delivery leadership in an Agile at Scale environment, with proven ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex initiatives across multiple teams, managing dependencies, risks, and competing priorities.
  • Strong cross functional collaboration, partnering with product, design, and business leaders to align strategy, prioritisation, and delivery outcomes within scaled agile ways of working.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey delivery context, strategic direction, and complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • People leadership and mentoring capability, focused on developing high performing engineering teams within Agile delivery models.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams at scale, fostering accountability, engagement, psychological safety, and continuous improvement across multiple squads or streams.
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills, enabling effective diagnosis and resolution of complex delivery, technical, and organisational challenges.
  • Commitment to quality and engineering excellence, ensuring Agile delivery maintains high standards of maintainability, scalability, and user centric design.
  • Strong familiarity with modern product engineering tools and Agile delivery practices, supporting transparency, flow, and continuous improvement across teams.
  • Forward looking technology and delivery mindset, anticipating emerging technologies, evolving product needs, and scaling considerations.
  • Sound understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory requirements, ensuring agile delivery remains compliant, secure, and responsible at scale.

Skills & Experience:


  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior product engineering role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the product development lifecycle and experience launching high-quality products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in product engineering and delivery leadership.
  • Postgraduate qualifications (e.g. Master’s degree or MBA) are advantageous, particularly where they support strategic, commercial, or leadership capability.
  • Relevant professional certifications are desirable, such as those related to agile delivery, scaled agile frameworks, product management, or engineering leadership.
