The Short Story:

We are Getepik.in, and we are on a mission to transform how a billion people discover and purchase gadgets. We are Indias first AI-powered "Try & Buy" electronics superstore.

We are building a high-speed, tech-first retail experience backed by strong investors and a fast-growing team. Youll be working in a small, high-ownership squad alongside founders, product managers, and engineers. We are looking for an Associate/Product Designer who is obsessed with Mobile UX, loves the chaos of 0-to-1 building, and wants to design interfaces for intelligence, not just data.

Most e-commerce platforms feel like digital catalogs. We want to build a "shopping companion."

Our mission is to make the sophisticated AI backend—which powers our "Try & Buy" recommendations—feel invisible, intuitive, and delightful on a mobile screen. Your job is to design a consumer experience that anticipates needs and simplifies the complex journey of choosing the perfect gadget.

What Youll Do (The Impact):

• Own the Mobile Experience: This is a hard requirement. You arent shrinking a desktop site to mobile; you are designing natively for iOS/Android, thinking in gestures, haptics, thumb zones, and bottom sheets.
• Define AI Interaction Patterns: How does a user interact with an AI that "thinks"? You will design the affordances, loading states, and feedback loops that build trust between the shopper and our AI.
• Prototype at Warp Speed: In our high-growth environment, speed is survival. You will turn abstract ideas into tangible wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes (Figma) to test hypotheses.
• Collaborate with the Core Team: You will work directly with founders and engineers. You will need to defend your design decisions with logic and deep user empathy.

Who You Are:

• The Experience: You have 0–2 years of product design experience (internships count!). We need to see a portfolio with a heavy focus on Mobile Consumer Apps.
• The Tooling: You breathe Figma. You are organized with design systems but flexible enough to break the rules when innovation requires it.
• The "AI" Curiosity: You dont just design static screens; you are curious about how GenAI works and how to design for dynamic, personalized content.
• The DNA: You are a self-starter who takes ownership. You are comfortable with ambiguity and the "stealth-like" speed of a startup where requirements can pivot quickly.

The Selection Process:

1. Application & The "Sprint": Along with your CV and Portfolio, we may ask for a brief design exercise (no more than 30-60 minutes). We arent looking for free work; we just want to see your problem-solving process.
2. Portfolio Walkthrough: A session to dive deep into your past projects, focusing on your design process, decision-making, and mobile-first thinking.
3. Whiteboard Challenge: A collaborative live session to solve a design problem in real-time, focusing on logic, user flow, and structure.
4. The Discussion: A final deep-dive interview with the founders to talk through your work, culture fit, and our long-term vision.
