Expert Software Engineer (Cyber & API Security)

The Role Mission

We are looking for a high-autonomy Senior Engineer to join our hybrid squad. You will be a core contributor to our API Security suite, moving seamlessly across the stack from frontend interfaces to complex backend data pipelines. In a distributed team spanning India, Israel, and Europe, you arent just writing code; you are designing secure, scalable systems and communicating complex ideas across borders.

Core Technical Competencies

The ideal candidate is a "Generalist Specialist" expert in the backend, but fluent across the entire infrastructure.

Language Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Go and Python (specifically FastAPI but not only).

Data & Cloud Infrastructure:

Deep experience with AWS ecosystems

o

Hands-on experience with Big Data processing using Spark and AWS Glue. Advantage)

o

Strong grip on MongoDB.

DevOps & Modern Tooling:

o

Infrastructure as Code IaC) via Terraform.

o

Container orchestration with Kubernetes K8s and ECS.

o

CI/CD using GitHub Actions.

AI Development: Early adopter of AI coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate delivery and maintain code quality. Spec driven design

Async Communication Pro: You excel at "Push Communication." You dont wait to be asked; you provide proactive updates, documentation, and Loom videos to ensure the team can move forward while you are offline.

The "Out of the Box" Hacker: In the Cyber world, you need to think like an attacker. You dont just build APIs; you anticipate how they can be broken.

Rapid Self-Learning: You have a proven track record of picking up new frameworks or technology in days, not weeks.

Desired Experience Profile

8+ years of professional software development experience.

A proven track record of building and maintaining systems that serve thousands of concurrent users or process millions of events per hour.

The ability to identify and resolve bottlenecks across the stack whether itʼs an unoptimized DB query, a slow API response, or a saturated message queue.

Cybersecurity Background: Previous experience in Cyber is a massive plus

Cross-Continental Collaboration: Experience working for a global startup or a product-based company where the headquarters were in a different country.

Full-Stack Fluency: Ability to jump into the frontend React when the squad needs to ship a complete end-to-end feature.
