THE OPPORTUNITY

The Principal Product Manager for E-Invoicing will drive the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for OpenText’s global e-invoicing capabilities within the Business Network.

This role is highly visible and requires deep domain expertise in e-invoicing, regulatory compliance, and enterprise integration. You will partner closely with regulators, global enterprises, engineering leaders, and cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, scalable, and innovative e-invoicing solutions worldwide.

YOU ARE GREAT AT

Regulatory & Compliance Leadership

• Act as OpenText’s senior product liaison with regulatory authorities, standards bodies, and industry consortia.
• Interpret evolving regulatory frameworks (Peppol, ViDA, clearance models, national mandates) and translate them into product strategy.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive regulatory intelligence pipeline to ensure global mandate readiness.
  
  

Customer & Market Leadership

• Engage with senior stakeholders at global enterprise customers to understand multi-country invoicing challenges and compliance strategies.
• Lead customer advisory forums, strategic roadmap reviews, and solution validation workshops.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers navigating large-scale e-invoicing transformations.
  
  

Product Strategy & Portfolio Management

• Define and drive the long-term product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the e-invoicing portfolio.
• Identify growth opportunities, new markets, and innovation areas aligned with OpenText’s broader Business Network strategy.
• Ensure alignment across product lines, engineering, compliance, and go-to-market functions.
  
  

Execution Excellence

• Collaborate with engineering leadership to drive end-to-end delivery of high-quality, scalable, and compliant e-invoicing capabilities.
• Oversee mandate programs, ensuring country-specific requirements are delivered with high quality and on schedule.
• Provide guidance to product managers handling mandate-specific features or functional tracks.
  
  

Mandate Management & Enablement

• Lead readiness planning for major global mandates and ensure comprehensive internal and external enablement.
• Partner with GTM teams to develop mandate playbooks, compliance guides, and customer-facing content.
• Represent OpenText at industry events, webinars, and regulatory meetings as a subject-matter expert.
  
  

What It Takes

Required Experience

• 10+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, supply chain, e-invoicing, tax compliance, or related domains.
• Strong domain knowledge of e-invoicing standards and regulatory environments (Peppol, EDIFACT, UBL, CTC models, XML formats).
• Demonstrated experience driving product strategy and roadmap execution at scale.
• Proven ability to work with global enterprises and understand complex B2B, integration, and compliance requirements.
• Strong technical fluency with APIs, integration technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise architectures.
• Experience influencing or collaborating with government agencies, standards bodies, and regulatory stakeholders.

Good To Have

• MBA or equivalent business leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience with global e-invoicing implementations.
• Familiarity with digital tax reporting, financial compliance, and regulatory technology ecosystems.
• Understanding of cloud-native architecture and global SaaS delivery models.
