Role

As a Product Management in the Azure Storage team, you lead strategic product initiatives that advance Microsoft’s foundational storage platform. You define product roadmaps, influence engineering priorities, and partner with customers to deliver solutions that scale globally. You guide teams across multiple feature areas—shaping vision, aligning stakeholders, and driving measurable business impact through data‑informed decisions. You collaborate with Product Marketing, Business Planning, and Engineering to define release criteria and shape usage, retention, and monetization strategies. You also evangelize your product areas with internal and external stakeholders, and you manage people—driving growth and development, executing projects, and assessing performance. Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the product vision for Azure Storage services aligned with business goals and customer needs.
• Engage with enterprise customers and partners to understand pain points and translate insights into actionable product plans.
• Drive strategic investments and lead execution of high-impact features.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure architectural soundness and technical feasibility of roadmap items.
• Partner with engineering, design, marketing, and field teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Represent Azure Storage in internal and external technical forums and evangelize product capabilities and roadmap to stakeholders, customers, and partners.
• Manage a team of Product Managers, focusing on coaching, mentoring, and career development. Foster a culture of inclusion, growth mindset, and customer obsession.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
• OR equivalent experience.
• 1+ year(s) people management experience.
  

Other Requirements

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree AND 12+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
• OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years people management experience.
• 4+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
• 6+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
• 6+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
