The Payables Lead (Associate) is responsible for assisting the Payables Manager and Supervisors in the oversight and scheduling of the AP team. This includes reviewing and approving invoices for accuracy and coding daily. This also includes the day-to-day management of system or payment processes. Also, this role is responsible for exception-based AP and Expense work. We are looking to hire internally in any RSM location.
Essential Duties
Review and approval of invoices in Workday under $10,000 or under $25,000 for RSM US Product Sales.
Responsible for exception-based AP and Expense work that is outside of the day-to-day processing, including: Integrations, managing AP mailboxes, CSP, uploads, and senior leadership expenses.
Manage the day-to-day lead specific tasks, including but not limited to supplier maintenance, voids, contracts, and settlement runs. This includes coordinating efforts with other Payables Leads and Payables Supervisors.
Assist Payables Manager and Supervisors in the oversight and scheduling of the AP team, including providing feedback.
Train Payables Specialists. This includes new hires and training current staff on new tasks and responsibilities. Provide recommendations to improve AP Reporting and technology through testing, implementation, and configuration.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
Equivalent experience required
Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred
Technical/Soft Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to work within a team atmosphere
Experience
2-4 years of relevant experience
Previous experience with AP software systems
