Marketing Intern

The Red Hat India Marketing team is looking for Marketing Intern in Bangalore, India.

Red Hat’s Intern Program is a collaborative effort between the Emerging Talent team and our intern managers. The program is designed to offer a meaningful and well-rounded experience — combining professional development, networking opportunities, social engagement, and impactful work.

Primary Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of the Senior Marketing Manager, India collaborate with Red Hat India sales and technical teams to coordinate & execute various customer/prospect marketing activity across the various business units
• Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns and monitoring .
• Support Field Marketing Team in market analysis and research on competitive landscape.
• Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web).
• Contribute towards developing and preparation of promotional presentations.
• Coordinate and distribute marketing materials with agency partners.
• Manage and update company databases and customer relationship management systems (CRM).
• Help to organize marketing events.
• Coordinate and deploy multiple marketing engines (i.e. online and in-person events, webinars, newsletters, online communities, and product campaigns) for awareness and demand generation campaigns and sales/marketing enablement materials.
• Maintain effective communication across the various teams on the status of all work in progress.
• Maintain documentation pertaining to the campaign execution.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Full time students working towards Bachelors degree/Masters degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent, class of 2026 cohort preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment with tight time frames.
• Excellent analytical skills and an aptitude for data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to commit full time internship from Jan - July 2026
