A Snapshot of Your Day

You will work across automation, infrastructure, and deployment engineering—designing and maintaining containerized applications, Linux-based systems, network automation workflows, and virtualization environments. Your work involves gathering requirements, writing automation code (Ansible, scripting), supporting deployments, troubleshooting issues, improving processes, and collaborating closely with development, infrastructure, and network teams while following DevSecOps and Agile practices.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Build and optimize containerized applications and manage Linux deployments.
• Develop and maintain advanced Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections for server, network, and virtualization automation.
• Automate Linux/Windows OS provisioning, including Kickstart/Preseed, WinRM, and BIOS/firmware workflows using HP iLO or similar tools.
• Deliver VMware vSphere automation covering VM lifecycle, templates, snapshots, and cluster operations.
• Manage Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, Molecule testing, and Ansible Vault for secure credential handling.
• Support PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization, and ORM integrations.
• Improve automation reliability through systematic debugging, documentation, and continuous enhancements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and operational consistency.
  
  
  

What You Bring

• BE/B.Tech/MCA/ME/M.Tech or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in Ansible, Linux administration/debugging, Docker, Git, CI/CD, and YAML-based automation.
• Hands-on experience with scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Practical experience in network automation (Cisco, Palo Alto, etc.) using Ansible modules and connection types.
• Experience with VMware vSphere automation and HP iLO or similar out-of-band management tools.
• Knowledge of OS provisioning automation for both Linux and Windows environments.
• Exposure to PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevSecOps, Ansible AWX/Automation Platform, and secure automation practices.
• Good-to-have: networking fundamentals, authentication/secret management, and basic C# understanding.
• You communicate clearly, work collaboratively with diverse teams, troubleshoot issues systematically, document effectively, and bring a proactive, solution-focused mindset to automation and engineering challenges.
