As a key leader, you will be responsible for building the team from the ground up, establishing local operations, and ensuring alignment with other business units, and for delivering best quality products to our internal and external customers.

Your Impact

Youll lead the development of core software technologies at the heart of tomorrows leading infrastructure solutions, tackling the entire range of challenges from user-facing API-s, through high-level algorithms, all the way down to firmware.

• Cultivate a high-performing team by recruiting top talent, fostering a collaborative environment, and providing mentorship and professional growth opportunities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team, leveraging deep expertise in software development and industry trends to drive technical excellence.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between Silicon-One team and Cisco Partners.
• Encourage creative problem-solving and innovation to address complex challenges and develop cutting-edge software solutions.
• Craft and develop software driving the worlds most complex infrastructures
• Gain intimate knowledge of world-class silicon and programming models
• Work with architecture and design teams to define the next generation of ASIC products being developed
• Youll be joining Cisco Silicon One Bangalore team which is the core center of Cisco’s SW and ASIC design.
• Youll be part of the group driving our groundbreaking next-generation network devices - Cisco Silicon One.
• Our unique team works in a startup atmosphere inside a stable and leading corporate and develops the full software stack enabling the Silicon One ASICs. Join a team of dedicated engineers with a proven track-record at delivering breakthrough products.
• Our R&D center is outstanding - hosting all silicon HW and SW development teams inside one site.
• We are transforming the industry and building a new AI/ML Networks, as well as providing a unified, programmable silicon architecture that is the foundation of all Ciscos future routing products.
• Our devices are crafted to be universally adaptable across service providers and web-scale markets, designed for fixed and modular platforms. Our devices deliver high speed (50+ Terabits per second) without sacrificing programmability, buffering, power efficiency, scale or feature flexibility.

Minimum Requirements

• B.Sc or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field, from one of the top universities, with excellence.
• Strong expertise in C++ development, specifically applied to networking systems and technologies
• 10+ years of experience in Software Development and 5+ year experience in SW team management.
• Familiar with Networking technologies and concepts
• Excellent communication and strategic planning skills, while being self-motivated with a focus on execution.
