Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Lead MERN Stack Developer to join our growing team in Bangalore. This is a hybrid role requiring a combination of deep hands-on development expertise and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in React.js, Node.js, and at least 3 years of AWS experience, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of end-to-end web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Define architecture and drive technical implementation for scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, UI/UX, QA, and DevOps.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and uphold best practices across the team.
• Utilize AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.) to build and maintain cloud-native applications.
• Own the deployment pipeline, CI/CD, and monitoring of applications in production.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
• Continuously improve performance, scalability, and maintainability of existing systems.
  
  

• 7+ years of full-stack development experience, with strong proficiency in React.js and Node.js.
• Minimum 3 years in a technical lead role, driving architecture and implementation decisions.
• 3+ years of experience working with AWS, including deployment and infrastructure management.
• Proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, REST APIs, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frontend tooling.
• Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
  
  

• AWS Certification(s) is a plus.
• Experience with GraphQL, TypeScript, microservices, or serverless architecture.
• Exposure to container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Startup experience or ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
