Introduction

We are seeking a Lead Engineer – CPQ to join our Screening Business Line.

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end solution for adding new screens and feeders to configutor thereby promoting sales through Dealer managment.

You will also play a key role in integrating new equipment from acquisitions, planning periodic maintenance of the existing equipment range, and driving continuous process improvements to enhance the digital experience for internal and external users.

You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Global Engineering, Regional Engineering, Sales, Order Office, and IT to deliver scalable, reliable CPQ capabilities supporting both capital equipment and aftermarket initiatives.

Team, you belong to

You will join the Global Team dedicated to the Screening Business Line. The team drives CPQ needs for the Screening Business Line across the capital range of equipment, and also supports eCommerce and media configurator initiatives to promote aftermarket sales.

What You’ll Do

CPQ Solution Leadership (End-to-End Ownership)


  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of CPQ capabilities for the Screening Business Line.
  • Own the configuration model for screens, feeders, and related options (BOM logic, compatibility rules, constraints, variants).
  • Ensure CPQ solution quality across configuration accuracy, pricing integrity, quote generation, and order readiness.


New Product Introduction & Catalog Expansion


  • Drive onboarding of new product lines, screens, feeders, and variants into the configurator.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to translate product structures into CPQ rules, attributes, and logical models.
  • Support expansion of CPQ catalog for acquired equipment ranges, aligning data structures, standardization, and governance.


Maintenance & Lifecycle Management


  • Plan and execute periodic maintenance for existing equipment range—rules tuning, product retirements, replacements, updates.
  • Improve resilience and reduce configuration errors through rule simplification, modularization, and reusable logic components.
  • Manage CPQ change requests, release cycles, regression testing, and documentation.


Process Improvement & Digital Experience


  • Identify and implement continuous process improvements for dealers, sales teams, and order office users.
  • Optimize the end-user journey: intuitive configuration flows, reduced quote time, fewer manual interventions.
  • Establish measurable KPIs (e.g., quote cycle time, error rate, adoption, conversion).


Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance


  • Work closely with Sales, Dealer Management, Order Office, and Regional/Global Engineering to align CPQ outputs with business needs.
  • Coordinate with IT and enterprise systems teams on integrations (ERP, PLM, CRM), data quality, and security.
  • Serve as the CPQ technical and functional SME for screening equipment across stakeholder groups.

  • Master Data / Pricing / Finance teams to ensure pricing and product data accuracy


Who You Are


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering / computer science / information systems (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong experience delivering CPQ solutions for complex products (capital equipment preferred).
  • Proven ability to translate product structures into rules, constraints, attributes, pricing logic, and quote outputs.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders: product, engineering, sales, operations, and IT.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and structured approach to troubleshooting complex rule/data issues.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence and drive alignment across global teams.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Hands-on experience with CPQ platforms such as SAP CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, Siemens CPQ, Tacton, or similar.
  • Experience integrating CPQ with ERP/CRM/PLM (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Dynamics, Teamcenter, Windchill, etc.).
  • Understanding of equipment/product configuration concepts: BOM, variants, options, constraints, commercial rules.
  • Experience supporting eCommerce configurators and media configurator initiatives for aftermarket sales.
  • Exposure to acquisition integration work (catalog rationalization, data mapping, harmonization).
