Job Description
Empower India’s Analytics vertical is seeking a Lead Analyst (DevOps engineer) to join its Reporting & Business Automation team. This person will lead cloud infrastructure automation, CI/CD architecture, reliability engineering initiatives on AWS, guide DevOps best practices across teams and ensure secure, scalable, and optimized cloud operations.
Role Responsibilities
Architect and manage enterprise-scale AWS infrastructure with a focus on security, performance, and scalability
Lead initiatives to standardize DevOps practices
Oversee automation strategies for multi-account and multi-region AWS environments
Implement cost optimization, auto-scaling, resource hygiene and governance frameworks
Guide CI/CD transformation using multi-branch pipelines and rollback automation
Mentor and support junior DevOps engineers
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align DevOps delivery with business goals
Drive DevSecOps initiatives, embedding security scanning and compliance into CI/CD pipelines, develop scripts and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to build and deploy workflows
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Analytics or Computer Science engineering
5-8 years of experience working in DevOps, with strong AWS hands-on exposure
Expertise in AWS Cloud Infrastructure Design and Automation Frameworks
Proficiency with Terraform / CloudFormation
Good understanding of EKS, ECS orchestration
Experience with AWS networking, VPC design, Route 53, and CloudFront
Knowledge of AWS Security, including IAM, KMS etc
Proficiency with CloudWatch, events logging for observability
Familiarity with CI/CD, GitOps, and DevSecOps methodologies
Experience in US retirement / Insurance / financial services operations preferably in a Global capability center
Required Skills And Competencies
Performance-oriented, resourceful and self-starter with excellent data analytical skills
Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize business requests in face of changing priorities and competing demands
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience of working in a cross border set up will be preferred
Willingness to learn and an aptitude for problem solving
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, contribute independently and within a collaborative team-oriented environment using sound judgment in decision-making
