Experience & Impact:

- 15+ years of experience in software development and system design with demonstrated impact on large-scale distributed systems.

- Proven track record of architecting and delivering complex, mission-critical systems in production environments.

Technical Architecture:

- Deep expertise in architectural design patterns, event-driven architectures, RESTful API design, and reactive programming paradigms

- Expert knowledge of Authentication and Authorization principles with proven experience architecting enterprise solutions using OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect

- Expert proficiency in API Gateway solutions (Azure APIM, Kong) including policy design, implementation, and governance

- Strong expertise in application security principles including OWASP Top 10, threat modeling, and secure SDLC practices

Cloud & Infrastructure:

- Hands-on experience with Azure services (APIM, AKS, Service Bus, EventHub, App Services)

- Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native architectures

- Deep understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases with experience in data modeling and optimization

- Expert knowledge of messaging systems and event streaming platforms (Azure Service Bus, Event Hub, Kafka)

Programming & Development:

- Strong hands-on coding skills in Java (or .NET) with willingness to contribute code and conduct code reviews

- Experience with modern development practices including TDD, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code

Leadership & Collaboration:

- Proven ability to mentor and develop engineering talent through technical guidance, code reviews, and architectural discussions

- Strong communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Track record of driving technical excellence and continuous improvement within engineering teams

- This is a technical leadership role with both architectural and hands-on development responsibilities (not a pure IC role)

GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS:

- Experience with MQTT, gRPC, WebSockets protocols

- Python programming experience

- AWS cloud platform experience

- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Application Insights)
