Role: IPR Intern

Educational Qualification: Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.

Work Experience: 0-1 year of industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Visualization & Analysis: Youll be instrumental in generating visualizations that help us understand and interpret our data. This includes RGB image generation, creating various plots and graphs to represent data distributions, and performing basic statistical analysis to support the validation of our processing workflows. Experience in SQL is a plus.
• Pipeline & Infrastructure Support: Youll assist in the maintenance and operation of our data processing pipelines. Experience with or a strong interest in Kubernetes (k8s) is a plus, as youll be involved in supporting our containerized workloads and ensuring smooth data deliveries to our clients. Code optimization and performance tuning skills along with experience in docker, C/Golang is a plus.
• Algorithm implementation and analytics: Strong mathematical understanding is essential.
• Cross-functional Support: Youll handle ad-hoc technical tasks that arise from cross-functional collaboration with different teams, providing essential support to keep projects moving forward. This might include anything from script optimization to assisting with data format conversions.
  
  

Desired Qualifications & Skills

• Programming Proficiency: Solid skills in a programming language commonly used for data science and image processing, such as Python.
• Data & Image Handling: Familiarity with libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and scikit-image/OpenCV is a strong advantage. Experience with or a desire to learn about satellite imagery and geospatial data formats (e.g., GeoTIFF) is highly desirable.
• Cloud & Containerization: An understanding of cloud computing concepts and exposure to container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to troubleshooting and a keen eye for detail. You should be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and document your work.
