IAM Engineer

Job Description

• Strong background in engineering and operational support for large scale IAM infrastructure, i.e. Ping Suite of products (PingFed,PingAccess,PingID,PingOne, PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud, PingNeo IDV) for Single Sign-On, Identity Federation, and Multi-Factor Authentication.
• Looking for an innovative thinker with a passion for problem-solving who stays current with IAM and Ping product roadmaps, security threats and best practices for user experiences.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven experience and ability to:
• Design, implement and support Single Sign-on (SSO) and federated solutions using PingFederate for SAML, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• Develop, configure and maintain authentication policies, authentication adapters, token processors/generators and custom IdP/SP connections
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM, SSO and federation issues across on-premise, cloud and hybrid environment, including certificates, DNS and network related problems
• Build and maintain automation (scripts, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code) for Ping environment deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Independently contribute as well as collaborate with other engineers and application teams to onboard new applications, define integration patterns and help to support and establish best practices.
