Our FinTech business unit - with teams in Amsterdam, London and Bangalore - develops new products and drives innovation to help us continue removing financial friction from the travel process and experience. That makes buying and selling travel-related products and services simpler for both travellers and partners.

We are looking for a highly strategic and experienced Group Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, and execution for the Traveler Pay-in Methods track. This critical domain encompasses our full suite of payment acceptance capabilities, including Alternative Payment Methods (APM), Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) solutions, and core Card Processing capabilities. As the leader of this track, you will be directly responsible for maximizing payment conversion rates and enabling global market penetration by ensuring we offer the right local payment options at the right time.

You will manage a team of Product Managers and drive initiatives that remove financial friction, unlock new growth opportunities, and deliver a best-in-class checkout experience for millions of travellers worldwide."

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and own the long-term product vision and inspire your teams and Product Managers to achieve the vision by sharing your message effectively;
  • Establish a strategy and roadmap to make the vision a reality;
  • Drive regular and periodic reviews of these roadmaps across product & tech and relevant stakeholders and contributors (Payments verticals, clients, infrastructure teams);
  • Support Product Managers in translating customer insights, company direction, industry developments into teams’ long- and short- term priorities;
  • Ensure Product Managers deliver well-written, detailed PRDs/user stories with clear acceptance criteria;
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand user needs with data, identify gaps in our offerings and develop product requirements;
  • Your work is data-driven, you will define key business and success metrics, track them, and integrate learnings’ back into the organization and product plan;
  • You will act as the key strategic partner to the Fintech Commercial team. This collaboration is essential to identify and prioritize which Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) and local payment solutions will unlock new traveller segments and business expansion opportunities in high-growth markets.
  • Benchmark our solutions against industry standards and competitors for innovation, and operational excellence;
  • Mentor and guide the professional development of each direct report through personal and performance management and coaching.


What you’ll bring:

  • 8-10+ years of proven Product Management experience, with 3+ years in a senior/Group Product Manager role within the FinTech or Payments sector.
  • Deep technical understanding of the entire payment acceptance lifecycle, including Card Processing (schemes, authorization flows), Alternative Payment Methods (APMs), and Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) solutions.
  • Proven track record in defining strategy and launching complex payment products across multiple geographies and currency/regulatory environments, with expertise in Payment Localization.
  • Strong working knowledge of critical payment regulations and standards relevant to a global platform (e.g., PCI DSS, PSD2/SCA, local KYC/AML requirements).
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience, successfully recruiting, coaching, and mentoring a team of Product Managers.
  • Demonstrated ability to define a clear, multi-quarter product vision and strategy that aligns a complex payments platform with core business objectives (conversion, cost, reach).
  • Exceptional ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders across technical, business (Commercial), and compliance functions.
  • Comfort with the financial levers of a payment business, including managing payment costs, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing product choices based on unit economics and ROI.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to define, track, and interpret payment KPIs (e.g., acceptance rates, authorization success), and drive product iteration via rigorous A/B testing and experimentation.
  • Experience working with APIs, payment gateways, and platform architecture. Comfortable engaging with engineers on technical trade-offs, scalability, and system resilience.
  • Extensive experience with agile methodologies and a demonstrated ability to execute a product backlog efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume, global environment.
