We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Global Trade Solutions Product Manager

In This Role, You Will

• Provide specialist project management support by developing project plans to track business initiatives with clear milestones, responsibilities and deliverables.
• Define project scope and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and identify clear Terms of Reference
• Ability to identify potential risks, align project delivery timelines with broader business expectations, create contingency plan to bring back delivery timelines in case of potential delays
• Track the project progress, resolve and follow up on issues with stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of initiatives. Strong Governance & Reporting skills by a) project management, b) updating status trackers and c) risk logs.
• Prepare periodic updates and presentations for senior management and project steering committees. Ensuring compliance to applicable policies, procedures relevant to the GTS product area and domain responsibilities
• Manage project budget plans and ensure cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. Providing effective analysis and governance reporting, tracking of outstanding project issues and actions
• Develop a robust and efficient control environment across GTS product organisation to ensure good operational, financial management and compliance to HSBC policy and procedures
• Protect the Bank, CIB, GTS from potential financial and reputation losses by maintaining strict internal controls
  
  

To Be Successful, You Will

• An undergraduate or post-graduate qualification in related fields. PMP/Prince2 certification preferred
• Experience in project management, process improvement, or regulatory implementation (non-IT focused). Detail-oriented and effective communicator with ability to engage senior stakeholders and drive consensus
• Skills that translate to asking the right questions, understanding the tasks, and communicating ideas and actions clearly
• Strong project coordination skills including managing project costs and contingency plans. Exposure in working in projects such as process reengineering, operations transformations or risk controls
• Proficiency in project tracking tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence or Trello is a plus. Strong at using Microsoft product suite (Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple project / business initiatives and deliver outcome under tight timeline
• Ability to prioritise and work independently under pressure within a global matrix team environment
• Good GTS product knowledge and understanding of GTS product risks is desirable. Working knowledge of ICC rules (UCP 600, URC, URDG) and trade compliance considerations is an advantage
