Role

We are looking for an experienced accounting professional with a robust background in process automation to join our team. In this role, you will:

• Drive automation projects by pinpointing opportunities for auto-certification and enhancing financial processes.
• Define and set automation rules, assisting the technical team during the configuration and implementation stages.
• Lead design workshops.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration.
• Ensure all processes comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Perform regular Business Process Expert tasks in Redwood and Smartclose, manage processes in these tools, and implement controls to prevent disruptions.
• Develop and maintain global work instructions and procedures, as well as conduct training for subject matter experts.
• Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
  
  

Who You Are

• You have 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA or ICA are highly desirable.
• You possess strong process improvement skills and hands-on experience with process automation tools and methodologies.
• You have extensive knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP S/4 HANA or SAP ECC.
• You understand core accounting processes, including Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Asset Accounting (AA), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP).
• You have participated in large-scale transformation projects and can design and document comprehensive accounting processes with a focus on compliance and efficiency.
• You excel in dynamic environments, demonstrating adaptability and a positive attitude.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with agile project management practices is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
• Experience with Redwood (RunmyFinance) Finance Automation (configuration and implementation) is a significant advantage, and experience with Blackline or other financial process automation tools is also beneficial.
