Job Summary

Were looking for a highly skilled Front-End Engineer (SD-II) to join our growing Application Engineering team at Urbint. In this role, youll play a key part in building and evolving performant, scalable, and user-friendly front-end experiences for our web applications. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to ship high-impact features that enable smarter decision-making for our customers.

What Youll Do

• Contribute to the design and development of new features across our product suite using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Participate in system design discussions, ensuring front-end architecture is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with product goals.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate requirements and wireframes into responsive, high-quality interfaces.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code, following modern best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to elevate code quality and maintain team standards.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, including rendering efficiency and API usage.
• Work with QA and support teams to ensure delivered features are robust, well-tested, and user-friendly.
• Support continuous integration and deployment efforts using CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps best practices.
  
  

• 4+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining enterprise-level front-end applications.
• Self-motivation and driven by passion and impact.
• Low on Ego and you are a team player
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, React Query, and component-driven development (e.g., Storybook).
• Experience with styling frameworks like Tailwind CSS, SASS, and UI libraries (e.g., Material UI, Ant Design).
• Solid understanding of Next.js, including SSR/SSG and API routes.
• Familiarity with the BE design principles. (API designs, Data models, sync/async interactions etc.)
• Comfortable using profiling tools to optimize web app performance and query behavior.
• Strong grasp of testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, and experience in a CI/CD environment.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and resolve technical ambiguities in product requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions to peers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Able to closely collaborate with the product team and convert the functional requirements into the technical details.
• Familiarity with the following things is a plus:
• Familiarity with the standard cloud offerings from AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Understanding of Kubernetes, Terraform, or Infrastructure-as-Code tools is desirable.
