Program Manager will be part of the middle mile organization to lead Amazon Fleet initiatives focused on maintaining logistics fleet and enhancing our logistics partner experience. Program manager, ensures our fleet remains the world’s most efficient and safest in the world. The role supports daily operations at Amazon logistics by collaborating with partner teams to implement cross-functional projects and programs. This role will spearhead the development and implementation of value-added services (VAS) while fostering strategic partnerships with vendors and OEMs to improve the carrier/driver experience. This position plays a crucial role in shaping our fleets efficiency and safety standards while ensuring superior service delivery and partner satisfaction through innovative solutions and program management skills.

Key job responsibilities

Scope and execute programs to build a fleet of high quality and reliable vehicles for ATS

Build and drive Value Added Service programs on the basis of logistic partners and market requirements to meet industry standards

Develop strong, value-add partnerships and managing 3rd party companies.

Influencing internal and external stakeholders/partners, and building partnerships across a wide range of 3P partners

  • Development of the overall program strategy, tactically driving teams in and outside of your organization to deliver
  • Define the program (mission, vision, tenets), set objectives, analyze data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics
  • Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross functional interactions
  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
