Role Description:

This role will be a part of the Finance Center of Excellence and support various financial aspects of LSEG’s Operations. The successful candidate will combine excellent commercial, communication and technical skills to provide financial insight for business partnering, reporting, planning, and forecasting.

Key responsibilities of the role:

The role will be part of FP&A Reporting & Analytics team to manage Workforce area include but is not limited to the following:

  • Provide analysis, reporting, and decision support to senior management on workforce-related matters, including internal and external workforce costs.
  • Consolidate, analyse, and deliver insights through monthly global/regional reporting packs and ad-hoc reporting decks.
  • Execute a robust month-end review process for workforce reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead and support workforce analysis, modelling, validation, and outcome tracking.
  • Assist in preparing monthly end-to-end business reviews (MBRs) and manage budgeting processes, including staff budget assumptions, in collaboration with senior management and Country HR leads.
  • Oversee finance administrative activities related to workforce budgeting and forecasting using Oracle EPM tools.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for divisions/functions on workforce reporting and drive strategic projects.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements and improvements; support strategic projects, migrations to new reporting tools, additional finance initiatives as needed.
  • Lead and deliver ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required.
  • Capable of managing a small team while also working independently with minimal direct supervision

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail while maintaining a strategic, big-picture perspective. Confident and articulate, with the ability to challenge peers and senior leaders constructively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; adept at building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
  • Highly numerate, with advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and data analysis.

Experience required:

  • Qualified chartered accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), MBA Finance with 7 to 10 years post qualified experience, which includes activities (Workforce reporting & analysis, advanced reporting tools, Budget guidance and analysis, Monthly Business review decks and insight)
  • Working experience in workforce reporting and analysis space within FP&A domain is a plus.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Oracle EPM ERPs and other financial systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment handling multiple priorities
  • Proven track record to interact with senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to provide business partnering support
  • Excellent use of Microsoft office packages, PowerPoint, Excel/ Power BI/Query, Word and other BI tools
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues globally
  • Time-zone overlaps with global collaborators and counterparts, as warranted
