What will you do?
- Lead and drive the design, development, and enhancement of scalable .NET Web API solutions using C# and Azure services. Own the complete software development lifecycle—including requirements analysis, architecture, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain robust, efficient, and secure API endpoints, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional, system, performance, and reliability requirements based on product and platform specifications.
- Implement and validate application security, ensuring compliance with industry standards, security invariants, and best practices for cloud-based solutions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level software developers by providing regular coaching, code reviews, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing on .NET, C#, Azure, and modern development practices.
- Conduct thorough peer reviews of code, architecture, and documentation, taking accountability for overall software quality and adherence to engineering standards.
- Proactively identify technical risks, gaps, and dependencies early in the development lifecycle and communicate mitigation strategies effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, architects, and DevOps, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core, Web API
- Proficient in building APIs using microservices architecture
- Hands on experience with Azure cloud services including Azure Service Bus, Event Hub, Key Vault, and Cosmos DB etc.
- Solid understanding of testing frameworks like MSTest, xUnit, WireMock
- Proficient in GitHub for version control and Visual Studio IDE
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and containerized deployments
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Industrial IIOT products/system is plus
- Experience with cloud-agnostic solutions (e.g., AWS, GCP, or multi-cloud patterns)
- Experience in front end frameworks like Angular and React
- Experience with MongoDB and RabbitMQ
