Key Responsibilities

Compensation Administration

  • Process compensation updates in the HR system for new hires and existing employees; prepare payroll files for each cycle.
  • Maintain and update records related to annual performance appraisals and incentive programs, ensuring accurate documentation of salary adjustments and appraisal dates.
  • Serve as the point of contact for offer creation and dispatch via the recruiting tool.
  • Conduct job offer discussions for roles from Associate/Assistant to Senior Manager, ensuring alignment with compensation guidelines.
  • Prepare movement letters for promotions and salary adjustments.
  • Support the design and implementation of competitive compensation programs aligned with company goals and market trends.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Strategy and Development (TSD) team to prepare Cost-to-Company (CTC) data for pricing.
  • Assist in budgeting for compensation and benefits programs.

Benefits Administration

  • Oversee employee benefits programs including health insurance (HMO), retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Act as the primary contact for health insurance matters:
    • Enrollment of new hires and dependents
    • Cancellations for inactive employees
    • Validation and reconciliation of HMO billings
    • Payment requests
  • Address day-to-day HMO concerns and coordinate with providers for resolution.
  • Recommend enhancements to benefits programs based on feedback, usage data, and market trends.
  • Manage daily clinic operations in compliance with Department of Health regulations.
  • Lead planning and execution of Annual Physical Examination (APE) and health-related activities:
    • Coordinate with providers, HRBPs, Workforce Management, Facilities, and Admin teams.
Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage onboarding processes and maintain the New Hire Masterfile (employee info, personal details, compensation, payroll setup).
  • Handle employment verification and prepare Certificates of Employment for managerial-level employees and above.
  • Compute separation pay for retirement, redundancy, and retrenchment cases in compliance with labor laws.

Compliance & Records Management

  • Maintain and secure 201 files for managerial-level employees and above.
  • Submit Annual Health Reports to the Department of Health and Quarterly Information Reports to the Philippine Statistics Authority (Section 25 of RA No. 10625).
  • Manage HRIS systems to support compensation and benefits operations.
  • Update employee records in HR systems to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare compensation-related reports and databases for decision-making and compliance.
  • Ensure policies align with labor laws, government regulations, and internal standards.
  • Regularly review and update policies for competitiveness and compliance.
  • Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update policies accordingly.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory obligations and internal governance frameworks.

Employee & Stakeholder Communication, Vendor & Policy Management, Team Support

  • Communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders on compensation and benefits matters.
  • Manage vendor relationships and recommend improvements.
  • Mentor HR team members, support training initiatives, and foster a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in compensation and benefits with strong HR regulatory knowledge.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and generate insights on compensation trends and benefits utilization.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in managing compensation and benefits data.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS and advanced Microsoft Excel/data analysis tools.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Creative thinking and solution-oriented approach to resolving issues.
