Project Role Description : Assist with end-to-end engineering services to develop technical engineering solutions to solve problems and achieve business objectives. Solve engineering problems and achieve business objectives using scientific, socio-economic, technical knowledge and practical experience. Work across structural and stress design, qualification, configuration and technical management.

Summary

As an Engineering Services Practitioner, you will assist with end-to-end engineering services to develop technical engineering solutions that address complex challenges and meet business objectives. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to analyze engineering problems, applying scientific and technical knowledge, and leveraging practical experience to create effective solutions. You will engage in structural and stress design, qualification, configuration, and technical management, ensuring that all engineering tasks align with organizational goals and standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Expected to be an SME.
• Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices within the team to enhance overall performance.
• Mentor junior professionals to foster their development and ensure a high level of competency within the team.
• Involve in various of life cycle stages of Aircraft cabin component design, including installation feasibility, DMU creation, ergonomics study to operate equipment.
• 3D modeling, 2D drawing creation, DMU creation etc.
• Define the part installation interfaces with surrounding components.
• Create/update draw set from Manufacturing & Installation with BoM
• Quality check and inspection report creation
• Learn the project requirement from different stakeholders and transfer the knowledge to the team.
• Involve Change management process.
• Define automation process to improve efficiency
  
  

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Aircraft Interior Design.
• In depth knowledge of Floor to Floor integration OHSC, Sidewalls, Ceilings etc
• Proficiency in Catia V5 – 2D, 3D, and FTA workbench, PLM tools like VPM, PASS
• Strong understanding of design principles and methodologies related to aircraft interiors.
• Experience with CAD software and other design tools relevant to aircraft interior design.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements and industry standards in design processes.
• Familiarity with materials and technologies used in aircraft interior design.
• Knowledge of 3D Experience operations platform, MBSE will be advantage.
  
  

• The candidate should have minimum 10 years of experience in Aircraft Interior Design.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• Flexible working in shift hours
• A 15 years full time education is required.
