All about the role:

We’re looking for a technically hands-on Engineering Lead to take ownership of solution design, planning, and technical execution for our consumer-facing eCommerce platform.

In this role, you’ll work closely with Product Owners and Managers to translate the roadmap and prioritized initiatives into well-architected, high-quality solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence, aligning requirements across stakeholders, and leading the solutioning process from concept to delivery.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, UX, and Business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs and plans.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of ecommerce marketplace solutions.
• Ensure solution quality, adherence to architectural standards, and alignment with long-term platform vision.
• Own the technical solution planning, including technical roadmaps, dependencies, and integration strategies.
• Conduct technical reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Facilitate technical discussions, identify risks early, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Act as the technical point of contact for cross-functional teams during project execution.
• Stay current with industry’s best practices and emerging technologies to keep our stack modern and competitive.
  
  

• 8+ years’ experience working in SAP Commerce cloud platform.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams in ecommerce or marketplace environments.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, and cloud-native development.
• Experience in the eCommerce domain – product catalogues, CMS, checkout, payments, personalization, PIM etc.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a passion for mentoring and team development.
• Background in agile methodologies and product-centric development.
