Devops lead

Why This Role Matters

We are looking for a DevOps Lead who will take end-to-end ownership of our Infrastructure and Platform Engineering function.

This is not a traditional support DevOps role - this is a build, scale, and lead mandate.

You will be responsible for designing resilient, scalable, and secure infrastructure that powers mission-critical fintech systems. Along with being deeply hands-on, you will build and mentor the infra/platform team, establish engineering best practices, and create a future-ready DevOps culture.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering velocity, platform reliability, security, and cost efficiency, working closely with Engineering, Security, Product, and Leadership teams to ensure infrastructure becomes a strategic enabler for scale.

The Hats You Will Wear

• Own the complete cloud infrastructure strategy, architecture, and execution
• Design highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems
• Build infrastructure that supports high-throughput, low-latency workloads
• Drive infrastructure reliability, uptime, and disaster recovery readiness
• Lead adoption and maturity of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Build self-serve internal platforms for engineering teams
• Drive CI/CD maturity to enable faster and safer releases
• Improve deployment frequency while reducing failure rates
• Establish observability across systems (logging, monitoring, tracing)
• Define and enforce SLOs, SLIs, and uptime standards
• Lead incident response frameworks and post-mortem culture
• Ensure infrastructure aligns with security and compliance expectations
• Partner with Security teams on cloud posture, access governance, and secrets management
• Own cloud cost visibility and optimization
• Build cost-aware engineering practices
• Build and scale the DevOps / Platform team
• Hire, mentor, and grow high-performing engineers
• Establish infrastructure roadmaps aligned with business growth
• Drive DevOps culture across engineering teams
  
  

The Perfect Fit

• 7-10 years in DevOps / Infrastructure Engineering
• Prior experience leading or mentoring infrastructure teams
• Strong experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Deep expertise in CI/CD systems
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
• Hands-on expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with monitoring & observability stacks
• Proven experience designing scalable production systems
• Strong understanding of system reliability & availability principles
• Experience driving automation-first infrastructure
• Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
• Experience working in high-growth startup environments

• Experience in fintech / banking / regulated environments

Gaurav Mittal - Gaurav is the Co-Founder and the CEO of the company. He is having more than 20 yrs of experience and has worked with organisations like Zeta, Matchmove, MasterCard, Amex and ICICI Bank.

Himanshu Agrawal - Himanshu is the Co-Founder and the Head of Technology. He is from IIT Kanpur and has more than 14 yrs of experience working with organisations like Amazon and DE Shaw.

Puneet Sharma - Puneet is the Co-Founder and the Head of Product. He is from IIT Roorkee and has more than 10 years of experience working with organisations like BharatPe, Avail Finance
