Delivery Transformation Head 

Joining Location: Bengaluru/ Bangalore

Role & Responsibility

You are responsible for the successful execution of a low to medium complexity program & its profitability. In this role you require understanding of the individual program and how it interacts with other programs. You are also responsible for customer satisfaction and to some extent to the commercial growth within the account. In this role, you will be required to have the following knowledge and expertise:    Financial - Manage Gross margin  achievement, bonus & penalties,  for the Program - Adhere to project cash flow schedule Offering/competency - Ensure an  increase in project effort charged to domain experts - Formulate an appropriately structured Governance framework for the account in which he/she is the sole Program manager. Else work as per the governance framework defined by the Program Director - Create a clearly defined and documented escalation mechanism in place  - Ensure governance ties in with Scope/Change Management Delivery/Customer satisfaction - Lead and own the Program Delivery (schedule/risk/issues/changes/dependencies) - Help establish the required execution and project methodologies synergizing customer and Wipro methodologies for meeting Program Quality-Cost-Delivery schedule - Manage operational parameters of the program as signed off ( ppc, offshore- onsite mix, utilization, bulge)  - Manage customer escalations People - Lead planning workshops and program steering committee meetings - Develop and mentor project managers and PMO for exceptional performance from team members to improve performance - Manage & Control employee attrition rate Brand Building Initiatives - Participate in initiatives which help in building Wipro Brand and developing  progressive delivery.

 

You are required to have the following prerequisites to be suitable for this role.   Certifications and educational qualifications: - PgM Growth Center Assessment Knowledge: - Good understanding of Business Process,  contractual terms and legal implications. - Operational knowledge about activities that create value for the customer such as Off shoring model, Global program management, consulting processes, Wipro way etc. - Broad understanding of the industry area/domain, technology solutions is a must.  - Must have familiarity with core services, solutions and technologies of the organization. - In-depth understanding of one or two domains and technology areas is preferable. - Expertise in particular industry may be advantageous but not mandatory. Work Experience: - More than 10 years of overall experience in the IT industry, primarily in project management with atleast 18 months as a Project Manager. - Experience of managing large projects (2 - 4 Mn USD p.a)  - Experience of managing  a 2 to 5 Mn USD Application Development / System Integration Program - Experience of managing a 5 to 10 Mn USD Application Maintainence Program Skills: - Client Centricity - Execution Excellence - Collaborative Working - Nurturing People - Passion for Results - Strategic Perspective - Stakeholder Management - Managing Complexity - Problem Solving & Decision Making - Influence

 

 



Profile description:

Do

  • Delivery Management
    • Ensure seamless delivery of projects in a Mega Gamma/ Key Growth Account 
      • Drive and deploy account/ project delivery structure by evaluating the budget, costs, risks and staffing requirement 
      • Ensure 100% compliance to Project SLA’s, information security protocols etc (all customer’s contractual obligations)
      • Monitor and take appropriate actions on internal and external audit findings to ensure no major non-compliance/ deviation from the SLA
      • Ensure adherence to program/ project charter in terms of schedule, quality, efforts and cost 
      • Drive account health across projects by conducting periodic cadence with the quality team to take proactive measures to resolves issues/ possible escalations
      • Conducts periodic cadence with Workforce Management Group (WMG) to ensure 100% fulfillment as per the account/ project requirement
      • Regularly audit quality (QA) status of delivery and engage QA team to ensure adherence to Quality Assurance standards and processes
      • Collaborate and influence internal key stakeholders to ensure fulfillment, technology support and flawless delivery of projects
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Engage with client to opportunities to deploy multiple solutions within/ across SLs to create a stronger value proposition for clients and enhance share of business 
    • Conduct regular customer connects (meetings/ visits/ video-conference) and Management Review Meetings (MRM) with client management/engagement managers to understand customer’s current and future needs and seek feedback to improve delivery methodology/ timelines/ resource allocation
    • Identify and close early warnings on a project to avoid any customer escalations 
    • Plan and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with the client management/ leadership team to drive improvement actions and mine for a new portfolio/ opportunity within the account  
    • Design, monitor and share account performance dashboards/ reports with the clients periodically
    • Drive delivery transformation with client engagement managers to adapt to new delivery models and instill new ways of working in customer organization  
    • Share Wipro’s capability and initiatives that may support/ fulfill customer’s needs
  • Delivery governance across the accounts/ projects
    • Review MIS and reports to monitor and track overall project/ account delivery management
    • Conduct periodic reviews with the team (DM’s/PM’s) on operational, quality and fulfillment parameters and new idea generation & its implementation on existing projects 
    • Resolve project escalations, potential risks or early warning signs on project delivery to eliminate any revenue leakage
    • Review and monitor revenue allocations/ realization to avoid OB revenue leakage
      • Provide inputs to delivery leadership team on overall delivery performance parameters (project heath, utilization, realization etc) at an account level during reviews highlighting any critical project escalations and potential risks
