Role Description
The Traveller Intelligence track sits within Booking.com’s Marketplace organization and focuses on solving for traveller needs across all platforms. The track builds the foundational capabilities that allow every product, experience, and AI-driven interaction at Booking.com to become more personalised, consistent, and customer-first.
Traveller Intelligence delivers a governed, real-time Traveller Profile and API gateway that unifies all traveller context and behavioural signals into a single, trusted ecosystem. This unified profile powers every product surface, AI agent, and analytical system. By enabling unified and well-governed traveller data, seamless access across products, and actionable insights into what travellers truly want, the platform lays the foundation for smarter personalisation, relevance and accelerated business growth.

As a
Product Manager in the Traveller Intelligence track, you will contribute to building and scaling these capabilities. Working closely with engineering, data science, and ML partners, you will help define and deliver the components of the platform that improve data quality, accessibility, and insight generation; creating the building blocks for personalised and seamless traveller experiences across Booking.com.
Key Job Responsibilities And Duties
Product Strategy & Vision (within your Product Area)
- Contribute to the product vision and roadmap for your area within the Traveller Intelligence Platform, refining and evolving the long term strategy with guidance from senior leaders.
- Translate strategic direction into clear product requirements for your products.
- Define and monitor critical metrics for your products, ensuring they reflect both customer value and platform health.
Roadmapping & Execution
- Maintain and prioritise a clear, impact-driven backlog that reflects the needs of travellers, internal users, and the business.
- Collaborate with your engineering counterpart to align on the technical roadmap and make informed trade offs.
- Work closely with engineering to scope, build, deliver, and operate high-quality capabilities.
- Identify dependencies, manage risks, and contribute to stable, maintainable product delivery.
Customer, Data & Insights
- Partner with analytics, research, and data science to identify and understand user and business needs, generating hypotheses and informing product direction.
- Use qualitative and quantitative insights to guide prioritisation, experimentation, and product iterations.
Cross Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Empower and collaborate with your cross-functional team; engineering, data science, ML, analytics, and design; to maximize collective impact.
- Liaise with stakeholders across Booking to ensure the performance, adoption, and value of your products.
- Engage with other product managers across the track and organisation to align on shared priorities and ensure cohesive platform growth..
- Communicate clearly and proactively with technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment and visibility.
Role Qualifications And Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Product Manager role, ideally in data platforms, analytics tooling, ML/AI-driven products, or CDP platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder leadership skills. Be able to clearly connect with the business at all levels.
- Strong technical background and experience with managing platform products and complex roadmap development.
- Be a highly motivated self-starter with a flexible, can-do attitude that is ready to work in a high paced environment.
- Excellent prioritization skills in time critical situations while balancing customer & business needs.
- Commercial awareness and a strategic mindset. Be able to identify business opportunities and deliver against them.
- The ability to zoom in as well as see a 10,000 ft view.
- An analytical orientation and strong problem-solving skills demonstrated by the ability to structure issues and analyze alternative solutions.
- Able to understand and formulate meaningful business metrics.
- Team player with a bottom-up ideation process.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
