About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst who is as comfortable writing Python scripts as they are analyzing data. In this role, you won’t just build dashboards — you’ll write code, automate workflows, and build the data foundations that power 80% of our collections decisions.

You’ll work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business teams, using Python to clean, transform, and analyze large datasets, and help shape how we use data across the company.

Responsibilities

• Write production-grade Python scripts to clean, transform, and analyze large datasets.
• Automate recurring data workflows and build lightweight data pipelines.
• Collaborate with Data Science to prepare training data, validate model results, and run experiments.
• Build clear, actionable dashboards and reports (SQL + BI tools).
• Partner with business teams to translate messy, ambiguous questions into code-driven insights.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a fast paced startup as a data analyst or business analyst with strong Python skills (pandas, polars, numpy, etc.).
• Ability to write clean, reusable scripts — not just notebooks — and work with Git.
• Strong SQL (Postgres experience is a plus).
• Comfort with data wrangling, cleaning, and structuring large messy datasets.
• Ability to work independently, move fast, and deliver working code.

Good to haves:

• Experience with Airflow/dbt or similar workflow tools.
• Exposure to ML pipelines and model lifecycle.
• Familiarity with APIs (fetching, cleaning, and processing API data).
• Experience in fintech, lending, or collections industries.
