About the Role

As a Data Analyst in the Data & Analytics function at IDFC FIRST Bank, you will be responsible for identifying business needs, designing analytical tools, and delivering data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making. This role involves working with structured and unstructured data, developing test strategies, and applying advanced analytical techniques to solve complex business problems. You will also contribute to the development of data structures and frameworks that enable scalable and secure data handling across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify and scope business requirements and priorities through structured information gathering and analysis.
• Design and apply analytics techniques to address current and future business needs.
• Demonstrate a robust understanding of data structures and fields required for effective analysis.
• Map analytical frameworks to available data sources to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Conduct statistical analysis and create visualizations to present findings in a clear, actionable manner
• Support ongoing monitoring of business performance through regular reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
• Develop test strategies and systematic procedures to validate solution performance and accuracy.
• Select and apply algorithms and advanced computational methods to enable systems to learn, adapt, and deliver desired outcomes.
• Approach problems with creativity and develop innovative, data-driven solutions.
• Challenge existing processes to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Maintain a strong focus on goal achievement and follow through on initiatives.

• Bachelor’s Degreein B.Sc or B.Tech or BCA
• Postgraduate Degreein M.Sc or M.Tech or MCA or MA
  
  

• 2–5 years of relevant experiencein data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.
  
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data modelling, data architecture, and analytical tools.
• Familiarity with structured and unstructured data handling.
• Experience in designing and executing test strategies for data solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
