Amazons Cross Border business provides customers access to Amazon’s worldwide selection with a localized search and browse experience, convenient local payment options, end-to-end delivery solutions and access to native customer service on the local Amazon marketplace. Cross Border business simplifies the cross border shopping process by clearing customs on the customer’s behalf and by guaranteeing that the customer will not have to pay any additional duties and import fees beyond what is shown at checkout.

In 2026, RBS Cross Border Program is expanding into country management of non-footprint (NFP) countries—where Amazon does not have a local retail presence. To lead this effort, we are hiring a country manager (Sr. Program Manager) to own end-to-end business performance for key NFP destinations.

You will be own the Profit and Loss(P&L) and customer experience in your assigned countries. You will drive profitable growth by managing key business levers, building local strategies, and collaborating across a wide network of global and local teams—from logistics and marketing to product, legal, and finance. This role blends sharp business acumen with operational rigor and a deep focus on the customers experience.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end P&L management for assigned NFP countries, balancing growth with profitability guardrails (e.g., GMS and Operating profit targets).
  • Manage core operational levers such as CP Filters and Cross-Border Pricing to optimize selection eligibility and margin.
  • Monitor and diagnose key inputs like shipping costs (SCPU), customs accuracy (IFD/CSF), delivery promises, cancellation rates, and local demand drivers.
  • Lead Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs), present performance insights, and drive actions with cross-functional teams including DEX, Marketing, and Product, etc.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for legal, regulatory, and compliance escalations; ensure local trade and tax regulations are correctly reflected in systems.
  • Conduct local market analysis to identify growth opportunities, competitive threats, and customer needs; translate insights into roadmap inputs and experiments.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with central XB teams and RBS functional teams to align priorities and execute growth initiatives.
  • Identify and drive scalable solutions to support efficient market expansion and sustained growth.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • 5+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Masters degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
