Founded in 2005, Payoneer is the global financial platform that removes friction from doing business across borders, with a mission to connect the world’s underserved businesses to a rising global economy. We’re a community with over 2,500 colleagues all over the world, working to serve customers, and partners in over 190 countries and territories.
By taking the complexity out of the financial workflows–including everything from global payments and compliance to multi-currency and workforce management, to providing working capital and business intelligence–we give businesses the tools they need to work efficiently worldwide and grow with confidence.
Payoneer is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CPR Analyst (Counterparty) to join our Compliance Operations Department. This role is critical to ensure our adherence to global regulatory requirements and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with our extensive network of banking and payment providers worldwide.
As a Counterparty Analyst, you will conduct due diligence and KYC requests, draw actionable conclusions from complex datasets and clearly communicate findings to both internal and external stakeholders. You will serve as a critical link between Payoneer and its partners, providing timely, accurate, and well-documented responses that reflect our commitment to excellence, integrity, and operational efficiency.
What You’ll Be Investing Your Time In
Review new counterparty onboarding files and questionnaires, as well as conduct thorough periodic reviews and risk assessments, utilizing internal and external systems and databases, and web intelligence tools to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
Escalate or terminate counterparty relationships when risk or adverse findings are identified.
Continuously monitor counterparties for regulatory actions, sanctions, negative news, and identification of politically exposed persons (PEPs), responding promptly to new risk indicators.
Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all due diligence activities, risk assessments, completed questionnaires, and supporting documentation for audit and regulatory purposes.
Collaborate closely with Compliance, MLRO, and QA teams to ensure all counterparty risk processes and KYC responses align with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
Complete and respond to KYC/AML questionnaires received from counterparties and other third parties by gathering, verifying, and providing all required company information and documentation.
Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure all external KYC responses are accurate, current, and tailored to the specific requirements of requesting parties, supporting the firm’s reputation for transparency and compliance.
Fluent English (written and spoken) – ability to draft precise and professional communications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to interpret data and identify risks.
Exceptional attention to detail combined with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
A team player with excellent collaboration skills, who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexible attitude and ability to adapt quickly to evolving requirements and regulatory demands.
Familiarity with SQL (advantage).
Bachelor’s Degree
2- 5 years prior experience in Banking, Compliance, or Risk Operations is a must.
