Job Description

This role requires a person with sound experience administering CMMS systems (JDE, SAP S/4 HANA) master data management and work process management. The role must have a good understanding of maintenance and engineering processes and field practices and be able to relate these to CMMS functions. The role must also have very proficient data manipulation and analysis skills as well as experience working within an integrated ERP environment. Following is the basic responsibility of CMMS Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of SAP S4/HANA Asset Management, CMMS Master data and digital core systems.
  • Experience in other CMMS system like JDE/Maximo will be preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Maintain and govern asset management data across CMMS and related digital platforms.
  • Develop and enforce data standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Support digital core projects, including design, build, and handoff sessions.
  • Provide data analysis and insights to improve operational efficiency.
  • Responsible for ensuring record management best practices are being used to maintain and sustain the integrity and accessibility of compliance, safety, reliability, and integrity related asset data.
  • Support record keeping, application knowledge and craft field understanding of the record data and information gathered for facility assets. Requires outstanding customer service fostering elevated level of communication and integration between ADIM and other working groups in all refineries.
  • Supports awareness of Operations, Maintenance, and technical data management functions necessary to fulfil Add/Change/Delete requirements including taxonomy and naming convention aligned to Equipment Data Management standards.
  • Data /Template preparation as per SAP MDG-EAM master data domains.
  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
  • Metadata Management: Maintain and update metadata fields in the Master Deliverables Register
  • Correspondence Management: Process all incoming and outgoing project correspondence efficiently.
  • Status Reporting: Generate and submit accurate status reports at required intervals.
  • Assist in developing simple data workflows and automation for routine tasks
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, challenging environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Support the Chevron Asset Performance Management processes for Chevron complex facilities.

Training

  • Ensure Training Materials, User Guides are available and up to date
  • Provision of CMMS (JDE & EMDM) training to relevant BU stakeholders especially Operations, Maintenance & Reliability, Engineering"

Required Qualifications

  • At least 5-10 years of relevant CMMS Master Data experience required. Strong proficiency in CMMS products JD-Edwards (JDE) is essential. Additional experience with Maximo, SAP or SAP4HANA is highly desirable
  • Degree, Trade or Certificate qualified in relevant Maintenance, Engineering, Data Science or IT Discipline
  • Experience with Operations, Maintenance and Reliability within Industrial Complex Processing Facilities. LNG, Refining Petrochemical, Offshore Platform assets
