We are looking for a Cloud Engineer who is hands-on, curious and ready to take ownership of delivering and maintaining cloud-native systems. In this role, youll be building and running backend services on AWS infrastructure, solving practical engineering problems, improving development workflows and collaborating across teams. This position provides a strong foundation in modern cloud practices within a fast-paced, security-focused environment, and is a strong stepping stone for engineers looking to deepen their AWS, DevOps and platform engineering skills.

You can work in a hybrid mode from our Bengaluru office, and we hope you are able to join us for common gatherings at the office when needed.

Key Responsibilities In This Role

• Design, develop, deploy and monitor backend systems and services on AWS infrastructure
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth, automated deployments
• Take part in troubleshooting and resolving system issues, logs and support queries
• Stay up to date with cloud technologies, best practices and propose improvements where needed
• Work as part of a cross-functional engineering team using Agile methodologies
  
  

• 2–4 years of experience in cloud engineering or backend development
• Experience with Java (Spring Boot) or Python (Flask, FastAPI) for backend development
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Familiarity with Docker and working knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Exposure to CI/CD tools, Git and automated deployment workflows
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills in a production environment
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure or other cloud platforms
  
  

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, RDS)
• Experience with Kafka or similar message brokers
• Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (e.g. CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g. JUnit, PyTest)
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform, AWS CDK, StackMan)
