Through structured counselling, aptitude assessment, mentoring, and exposure, Udaan aims to bridge the awareness and access gap for students aspiring to build sustainable careers.

Role Overview

The Career Coach will play a critical on-ground role in career counselling, student mentoring, and career awareness delivery for ITI students from both rural and urban backgrounds. The role requires strong communication skills, empathy, teaching experience, and comfort with extensive fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one and group career counselling sessions for ITI students.

Deliver career awareness workshops, aptitude orientation, and goal-setting sessions.

Guide students on education pathways, skill development, vocational and employment options.

Engage with students from rural and semi-urban backgrounds, addressing socio-economic and academic barriers.

Collaborate with training partners, institutions, and local stakeholders for smooth program execution.

Maintain student counselling records, session reports, and impact documentation.

Travel regularly across Bengaluru, Tumakuru, Mysuru, and nearby locations as per project requirements.

Represent Toprankers Udaan professionally in partner institutions and community settings.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Educational Background (Preferred)

BA / B.Sc. in Psychology

MA / M.Sc. in Psychology

BA (Sociology) / MA (Sociology)

BSW / MSW / MA (Social Work)

LLB from a National Law University (NLU)

Experience

1–5 years of experience (more experience is a strong plus)

Mandatory experience in teaching (rural and/or urban settings)

Prior experience in career counselling, student mentoring, or guidance is highly preferred

Language Proficiency (Mandatory)

Kannada – Spoken & Written

English – Spoken & Written

Hindi – Spoken & Written
