This role is for an Analyst position in Data Science & Analytics - Integration and Deployment team.
Responsibilities
As a member of the Global Operations Data Science & Analytics (DSA) team, an Analyst will have the following responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Develop C/C++ program on Unix/Windows environment independently from Specs/Design
Create program specs from functional document
Create test scenario for verification & validation
Follow the SDLC process for development/QA/Audit processing
Liaise with stakeholders across geography to requirement understanding/clarification
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
What Youll Bring
This position is responsible for supporting the development of credit risk management and business intelligence analytic solutions through consulting engagements and research serving TransUnion’s clients.
You will implement the design into code , write, and test programs for data extraction, segmentation and statistical analysis on large population datasets using languages such as C/C++.
Manage model development requests that are of easy to moderate complexity.
You will collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams to drive new business initiatives and deliver long-term value-added product propositions
Develop moderate to complex test plans, execute all test plans, and validate batch fulfillment system setup and output data.
Understanding of design concepts and code standards to accurately document and develop simple and modify moderately complex models.
Identify how model and/or system changes will affect model execution.
Independently able to troubleshoot and resolve processing issues that may occur.
Analyze data and test results to maintain integrity throughout program lifecycle and ensure customer business needs are satisfied.
Identify and implement best practice standards to ensure accurate execution to limit re-work across the team.
Creates complete solutions for all levels of program complexity and assists others with
program development.
Makes judicious decisions which impact small projects and tasks.
Proactively identify how product and/or system changes will affect model execution.
Impact Youll Make
Requirments -
Bachelor’s degree or Higher in computer science / software development. A track record of academic excellence.
0 - 2 years of working experience in C, C++ ,c#
Working knowledge of software development lifecycle principles and quality assurance.
Should have good knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting.
Versatile interpersonal and communication style with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels.
Knowledge of Credit Industry would be added advantage.
Knowledge of DevOps tools like GIT, Harness, Maven would be desirable
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
