Key Responsibilities

• Liaison and Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between IT and Finance, facilitating clear communication on all IT-related matters. Work closely with various Finance teams especially controllership and help the Finance function in various analytical required from time to time.
• Issue & Request Management: Oversee the tracking, management, and timely resolution of all IT-related requests, issues, and inquiries from the finance department.
• Project Management: Manage and track projects within the IT project pipeline for Finance, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Business Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve business processes and optimize system implementations through IT solutions. Good understanding of the possible customizations which can be done in Web Apps/Tools using the database of ERPs for the usage of management.
• Technical & Financial Translation: Translate complex financial requirements and business needs into actionable technology solutions.
• Data & Reporting: Understand and apply knowledge of data analysis, databases, cloud technologies, and reporting infrastructure to support financial operations.
• Coordination & Collaboration: Work closely with various IT teams and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality support and solutions.
  
  

Proactive Solutioning: Develop and share knowledge of emerging technologies to proactively solve common issues and improve financial systems.

Work Experience

• Financial Acumen: Good knowledge in accounting and hands on experience working in Finance ERPs Eg: Oracle, SAP etc. A strong understanding of financial concepts and the ability to apply them to business and technical challenges.
• Technical Knowledge: Expertise in areas such as data analysis, data structuring, databasing, cloud technologies, reporting infrastructure, and SQL. Capable of building Power Bi based analytical dashboards.
• Effective usage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Finance functions. Expertise in MS excel and power point.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
• Organization & Diligence: Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a diligent, proactive approach to work.
  
  

Problem-Solving: The ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems related to IT systems and financial operations.
