Blackline Solution Architect

The Blackline - Architect role requires an experienced Blackline systems professional capable of driving multiple priorities in a dynamic, rapidly growing and fluid organization. The role will also be responsible for leading the global Blackline systems strategy, vision, including various transformation initiatives, as well as continually leveraging/implementing best in class technology to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the application stack.

Key responsibilities:

• Driving the short and long-term vision for Blackline modules while establishing governance, controls to support product delivery with accuracy and efficiency.
• Mentoring the Blackline support team to facilitate knowledge transfer and expand functional and technical capabilities.
• Develop and maintain the blueprints (technical patterns and reference architectures) for integrating Blackline with all core ERPs and FinTech systems. Evaluating the design of existing Blackline processes, leading the development recommendations (both systematic and process driven improvements) with budgeting and ROI analysis and delivering proposed solutions to completion.
• Strategic thought leadership and helping to shape the Blackline future state landscape including impact on policy and controls as we shift from brand centric to cross brand solutions and business processes.
• Leading cross functional collaboration with Global Business Services, FinTech Organization, Risk and Controls, and Operational Excellence teams to deploy system changes and adoption of best practices as we move toward a standardized Blackline global system.
• Lead improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Blackline systems through existing technologies and new solutions to meet business requirements with consistent processes and controls.
• Establishing strong relationships with all levels of the business cross-functional stakeholders, manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate discussions to ensure information flow, transparency, collaboration and effective execution of solutions aligned to business needs.
• Govern the overall design integrity of financial technology solutions across projects, providing sign-off on major architectural decisions to ensure conformance and compliance with global enterprise architecture guidelines
  
  
  

• Deep knowledge of financial systems architecture and experience in defining architectural strategy across multiple financial platforms.
• Previous implementation experience of Blackline Journal, Account Reconciliations and ICH
• Experience with OneStream a plus
• Extensive understanding of ERP functions and workflows, including international expansion and global consolidations
• Demonstrated experience working in a global matrix organization and leading group efforts through influence and communication via strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrable experience of executing process transformation initiatives
• Project and program management experience
• Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skill
